Program Description
Brief Introduction
3+3 Program consists of two parts, 3-month Chinese learning and 3-month enterprise Internship in Chinese companies in Wuhan, covering science and technology, finance, management and other fields. This program is especially suitable for those who are extremely interested in Chinese language and culture and would like to have some internship experience in Chinese companies.
Those who accept 3+3 program not only can master basic Chinese communication and understand wonderful Chinese culture in a short period of time, but also can get a precious experience of internship to understand how university research results were successfully transformed and put into practice, and witness China’s increasing independent innovation ability.
Courses
1.Chinese Learning
Main courses like Elementary Comprehensive Chinese, Business Chinese, Chinese Panorama and Chinese Speaking & Listening are offered according to characteristics of the program: intensive, practical, focusing on listening and speaking.
There are 20 class hours per week. (1 class hour=45 minutes)
2.Enterprise Internship
Program participants will be divided into different groups according to their interests and allocated to the respective enterprises to finish one or a group of assignments. Through team work in Chinese companies, program participants could be improved at the following aspects:
1) apply technical knowledge to solving real-world problems;
2) develop capabilities to work effectively in multi-cultural teams;
3) create new ideas and identifying new alternatives based on technology.
Besides, in order to integrate program participants into Chinese companies, a special team would be established for them.
The team members are:
1) Internship Supervisor who offers guidance regarding projects or assignments to program participants;
2) Program Manager who arranges internship affairs;
3) Volunteers who help program participants in daily life.
Working hours: 8 hours/day
Accommodation: International Student Apartments on HUST campus.
Transportation: There is a shuttle bus from HUST campus to company everyday.
Meals: Program participants have breakfast and supper on HUST campus. The lunch is offered by company for free.
Certificates
After students finish the program, 2 certificates including Certificate of Completion and Certificate of Internship will be granted.

*7. Financial Certification/Bank Statement
Proof of funds equivalent to at least 3,000 USD (Not required for International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship applicants).
Tips:
For applicants who are in China: If you are an employee, you still need to provide employment separation certificate and your current residence permit. If you are a student, you need to provide transfer certificate, leaving certificate, certificate of attendance rate issued by previous school and your current residence permit. - Video
