Entry Requirements
1.Graduating high school students or obtained a senior high school diploma, physically and mentally healthy foreigners.
2. According to the regulations released by Ministry of Education, P. R. China, if parent(s) was (were) a Chinese citizen settling in a foreign country at the time applicants were born, applicants must have obtained their current foreign citizenship before April 30, 2022. In addition, the applicant must have lived outside China for at least 2 years during the period between May 1, 2022 and April 30, 2026 (The actual residence in a foreign country for 9 months in a year can be counted as one year, subject to the entry and exit signatures).
This requirement shall also be met by those who apply for undergraduate study as international students after immigrating from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and obtaining foreign nationality.

3. TOEFL (≥80), IELTS (≥5.5),
Or other certificates of the same proficiency level which are accepted by HUST;

STUDY PLAN
Thank you very much for providing me the opportunity to express my feelings regarding my higher study in China and studying there for my further education. Coming to China for higher studies means guaranteeing my future, the stability and the prosperity. The facilities and conducive atmosphere of China will help me to enhance my skills in a better way and will lead me towards a brighter future.
I have always shown willingness and keen interest in my existing and new subject matter. Along with that, academic skills have been an important consideration to me and I have a good understanding of them. I am interested in Computer science because one has a greater chance to explore a variety of subjects. Also it will polish my academic skills and will provide me opportunity to develop skills in the area of engineering that can be applied in many different situations.
This is a turning point of my career and I want to give it a great start and in that case I think HUAZHONG UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY is a very good choice. Its degree of administration is a very popular and is in accordance with my requirements. As the University promises good career outcomes and this program satisfies me very much.
Also I will have a chance for further study in engineering. As I want to do my master’s degree after this in some top level university in China. Chinese education system has a very good reputation and assures quality education. Also it is a safe country with multicultural and a welcoming environment.
I believe after studying in China many multinational companies will be pleased to give me job place easily. So as recommended by my teachers, my parents and keeping in mind all the above factors, China is the best place for me to do my higher study. I believe that I will have a place in your esteemed organization and it will be an honor for me to continue my study in China.
During my previous study I always got good grades and I always have keen interest in my study and I believe in myself. For these reasons I have chosen HUAZHONG UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY to study computer science because it fulfills all of my requirements and I am also fulfilling its minimum requirement for admission. So i wish the Chinese government will provide me with all the necessary help that i would need in other to achieve my goal in a way of scholarship and also offer me a job facility in China to cement what I have learnt. Program Description
1. Program Objectives
Editor Note: The graduates of this program are required to master the basic theories and skills in modern communication systems and communication networks.
Based on the characteristics of overseas students and making full use of our educational resources, we design the program to bring up students mastering the basic theory of electronic and information fields, as well as reasonable knowledge framework. The graduates in this program are required to develop the systems and technologies which drive the information age, from acquiring information, transmission, processing to applications. They are required to master the basic theories and skills in modern communication systems and communication networks. They are able to participate in the design and development of various communication and information systems. The graduates are equipped with strong professional English in telecommunication engineering, good personality and innovative initiatives. They are qualified to design, integrate and develop communication systems and technologies in information and communications industries, research institutes, universities and other related communities.
2. Learning Outcomes

1. A knowledge of liberal arts and social sciences, an understanding of social, professional and ethical responsibility, and an ability to communicate effectively in oral, written and visual forms.
2. An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering with the specialty in telecommunications.
3. An ability to design and conduct experiments, analyze and interpret data, and report findings.
4. An ability to design a communication system, component, or process to meet specifications.
5. An ability to identify, formulate, analyze and solve telecommunication engineering problems.
6. An ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for telecommunication engineering practice.
7. Innovative thinking, team spirit, a preliminary ability to conduct scientific research, and an ability to function in multi-disciplinary teams.
8. An understanding about the impact of engineering solutions in a global and societal context, a knowledge of laws and regulations relevant to engineering, environmental protection and sustainable development.
